Guidelines

We have developed and published Guidelines as easy Handouts for all stakeholders involved in education (students, teachers, managers of educational institutions and in education policy).

These handouts are developed by the German Network „Ethische Nutzung von KI (EthiKI)“ (= Ethical use of AI). They are intended as initial information for students, lecturers and responsible persons at universities who have not yet worked with AI. They consist of basic statements on the use of AI at universities and a FAQ list with recommendations for practice.

We have chosen this short form of handout because there are already numerous studies and scientific papers on the use of AI, but no two-page introduction that can be passed on to interested parties.

The handouts are available here for download and for open and free distribution, adaptation and reuse (thanks to the Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 licence):

You can read and download the Guidelines on Ethical AI Use for Teachers here.

You can read and download the Guidelines on Ethical AI Use for Students here.

Further information, examples and recommended reading will follow here.
